A manufactured home foundation certificate or engineer certificate is usually required by the lender when purchasing a manufactured home. There are certain requirement that the home must conform to in order for the lender to approve the purchase. These requirements may include adequate foundation support, secured strapping at appropriate spacing, appropriate building additions, etc.
